This is a fibre gasket that provides a proper seal with the cover of the main reduction gear or steel gear.
If you open the BBSHD motor, then the gasket for the reduction gear will usually become damaged, which means you will likely need a replacement to ensure a suitable seal.
Note: This gasket seal is suitable for Bafang BBSHD motors only. NOT compatible with the BBS01 or BBS02.
